LOVE PORT ARTHUR CONTINUES
SECOND DEPLOYMENT DATES
Friday, Oct 20th // Sat Oct 21st // Sun Oct 22nd
Over 100 volunteers from churches throughout the Greater Port Arthur and Austin Areas will combine efforts once again for a second “Love Port Arthur” deployment. The event will take place at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. Volunteers will have a variety of supplies for distribution, in addition to emotional and spiritual care being offered to survivors. Only those families who were not served during the September 30th deployment will be served during this weekend event.
It is extremely important for those seeking help that they fill out the application and schedule an appointment below. If you need assistance, ask a family member or trusted friend. Only those who complete the Survivor Assistance online application and with scheduled appointments who were not served during the September 30 event will be served at the weekend event. There is no need to arrive earlier than your scheduled appointment time. For families that are not able to drive to an appointment due to a severe disability or have no friend or family member that can provide transportation, Austin Disaster Relief Network will schedule a house visit to ensure survivors are setup to receive available assistance (please keep this service ONLY for those with no ability to drive or find transportation). Please sign up below.
The “Love Port Arthur” deployment is being coordinated by the Austin Disaster Relief Network (ADRN), which has been at the forefront of providing relief efforts, supplies and emotional/spiritual care to thousands of people affected by Hurricane Harvey.
